Roading Industry Support Services supports Fieldays in achieving informative traffic information to help people prepare not just for coming to the event but also people needing to travel past the event. 

As part of the planning for this years event there will be some minor changes to the traffic management plan which includes a morning no through road system on SH21 (Airport Road.) The reason for this is that due to the narrows bridge being of constrained width we are getting large queues forming back from here back beyond Tamahere Interchange in all directions. Part of the success of the Hamilton Expressway opening is that we have move vehicles arriving faster at this point than previous years events. This no through road will create based on the travel information we gathered a 10 minute longer journey for someone travelling from SH3 heading south on SH1 from Tamahere Interchange at peak morning flow. We are only doing this in the morning for up to 3 hours and you will be able to see here live when it is closed or open to through traffic.
