SUMMARY:ASHTAS Operative Workshop Wellington
DESCRIPTION:As an operative\, you are a member of the installation crew actively installing Road Safety Barrier (RSB) under supervision. This course is the starting point of achieving Barrier installer-specific training as set out in the Austroads Safety Hardware Training and Accreditation Scheme (ASHTAS) \nThe course will cover barrier basics and a basic understanding of the Accreditation scheme. \n\nModule 1: Overview of the parties involved and learning outcomes\nModule 2: Introduction to the Scheme\, training requirements\, and a brief history of road restraint systems and the quality control\, assurance\, and standards.\nModule 3: System Performance and Testing\nModule 4: Terminology and installation requirements.\n\nFollowing the learning you will undertake a multi-choice test and must answer at least 24 (80%) questions correctly to pass out of the 40 questions. You have one hour to complete the test once you have logged in. If you fail the test you can re-sit it after 21 days. The re-sit fee is $200. \nA workbook will be provided at the start of the training and a laptop or tablet running Chrome\, Edge\, Firefox\, iOS or Safari\, will be required for the test. We do have computers available should you need them to complete the test. \nPayment of $640+GST is required before attendance at the Workshop. \n
