SUMMARY:ASHTAS Installer A Workshop Hamilton
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is for installers who will be leading the crews and signing off installation of all barrier types. Following on from the Installer A workshop the learner will need to complete Installer B modules relevant to the systems they are installing. \nOn completion of this module\, the candidate will: \n\nUnderstand the general requirements for installation\, inspection\, maintenance\, and repair of Road Safety Barrier Systems (RSBS)\nHave an understanding of the Installer Requirements within the ASHTAS Training Framework\nBe able to use the e-logbook to gather evidence for the Installer qualification\n\nThe areas covered within the workshop: \n\nASHTAS e-logbook\nSite Safety\nTypical Installer Activities\nSetting Out\nPlant & Equipment\nEarthworks & Foundations\nAnchorages\nFasteners\nVerification of Installation\nHandover\n\nThe learner will then complete a Knowledge Evaluation and then be issued their e-logbook for recording installations evidence towards completing their Installer Status. \nYou have the option to add to your registration an installation\, inspection recording tool that will help record evidence for your e-logbook and also provide clients a signed inspection certificate. It works on your phone or tablet and your subscription to the app will last for 3 years to align with your acredication refresher.

DESCRIPTION:You must have completed the Installer A workshop and assessment before attending this workshop \nThis workshop is for installers who will lead the crews and sign off on the installation of Semi-Rigid\, Terminals and Flexible Systems. Please register for the systems learning you wish to attend. You will only complete the learning for the systems you choose. \nThe day will be split as follows \n\nSemi-rigid barriers and their generic use and performance criteria\nTerminals and Crash Cushions\, how they work\, and key elements to consider when installing\nFlexible system general awareness about the difference between ‘Legacy’ and ‘Accepted” products\, how they work\, and assembly processes.\n\nFollowing each section there will be a short test to ensure the knowledge component is understood and will then need to complete your eLogbook requirements for each system. \nOnce the learner has completed the eLogbook you can then submit for assessment. There will be a fee of $415+GST for each review and issuing of a new e-card and certificate. \n  \nPayment for the workshop must be made before attendance at the workshop.
